Vintage original movie poster half sheet (22” x 28”) for the 1950 RKO film noir “The Woman on Pier 13” starring Laraine Day, Robert Ryan & John Agar. Very fine condition with minor wear. The half sheet size (22”x28”) poster for “The Woman on Pier 13” is in very fine condition. It has minor creases & wear & tear primarily along blank borders, on edges & corners. While the poster was folded at one time, it has laid flat for a long time &, as a result, the area along the fold lines has very little damage or color loss. See photos. The artwork & design vividly capture a tension-filled film noir drama featuring a glamorous femme fatale. The colors are vibrant, the poster looks absolutely terrific & it will display quite well. It was announced in September 1948 as RKO's first production following billionaire playboy Howard Hughes’ takeover of studio. The film originally previewed in Los Angeles & San Francisco in 1949 under title “I Married a Communist” but, owing to poor polling among preview audiences, titled was changed.
