Fabulous Modernist MCM Sterling Silver brooch with a 15mm round bezel set cabochon amethyst stone. Signed /stamped on the reverse by Danish silversmith Carl Ove Frydersberg. Estimated made between 1950-1965, in Copenhagen. Excellent vintage condition and rare to see his work set with an amethyst.
